Object(s): NGC 6995 (north eastern Veil Nebula) Location: My-Spot Observatory (4.1 ZLM) Date: June 29, 2011 Scope: Vixen VC200L w/Focal Reducer Mount: Losmandy G-11 Guiding: ST80 OTA with QHY5 Camera: QHY9M Filters: Astronomik 12nm Ha, OIII, & SII Exposure: 20 x 300 (SII), 27x300 Sec (Ha), 20x300 Sec (OIII), (5 Hours, 35 Min) Mapped: Ha-Red, Sii-Green, Oiii-Blue
Processing & Notes: Nebulosity, Fitswork4 and Stacked in DSS and final processing with PS CS2. This was a surprisingly easy image to process. My first truly remotely imaged astrophoto. Scope was at my home observatory in Michigan controlled via the internet from Utah (I know that's backwards). Everything worked flawlessly! |
