| Object: Lunar Eclipse
Over the Charles Bridge, Prague, Czech Republic. Date: May 4, 2004 (9:16 PM Local
                Time)
                Exposure: 1/8 @ f/5.6 @
                1600 ISO
                Camera: Canon EOS
                Digital Rebel (300D)
                Equipement: Sigma 24-70 Zoom @ 57mm
                Guide Scope: n/a (Hand
                Held)
                Hardware &
                Software: The Canon
File Viewer Utility was used to output the raw
image as a 16bit/ch tif. Then the image was then
tweaked and curve adjusted using Picture Window
Pro. Oh - BTW, the smearing you see above and
below the moon was a real visual event that was
plainly visible to to eye, not a camera artifact.
                Info: This image was
taken shortly after the lights of the Charles
Bridge were turned on. The effect was perfect. It
also happened to be my wife's and my 13th wedding
aniversary. Needless to say, it was perfect!
